KLEENING HINTS - CARPET POWER
Advice:
No carpet, not even modern carpet is entirely stain proof. Your best chance for removing stains is to attend to them as quickly as possible. Always first blot liquid stains with dry, white absorbent cloths or white paper towels with no printing on them. With semi-solids, remove as much as you can with a rounded spoon before using Carpet
Power.
Preventative Measure:
A simple floor mat placed at each door to the outside can trap much of the soil
that would otherwise find its way into your carpet. But it's important to keep
these mats cleaned regularly. Otherwise, the mats will fill with soil just like
a sponge with water and will actually become the source to spread soil to your
carpet.
Red Wine:
Red wine is one of the worst offenders when it comes to stains. Best to treat this stain immediately by absorbing the spill with a paper towel then spraying Carpet Power onto the stain, use a damp cloth gently wiping over and rinsing off after
SET IN CARPET STAINS:
Depending on the type of stain, the key to treating some set in carpet stains is persistence. It may take more than one try to get the stain out. If you see some lightening of the stain on the first attempt, try again. Use small amounts of water and a damp cloth after each try.
Dirt:
An excessively soiled carpet can hold up to one pound of dirt in each square
yard. To suck up dirt and soil first use a vacuum to remove loose dirt then use Carpet
Power to rid dirt that has stained carpet fibres. Apply Carpet
Power in
accordance to the directions.
Blood Stains:
Blot the stain with Carpet Power, and then flush the stain thoroughly with water. Never rub or brush a blood stain because this may spread the stain or damage the fabric.
Make Up:
Grease is a major ingredient in lipstick and other cosmetics. Carpet Power has grease cutting ability making it much easier to remove Make Up. Grease is therefore your target when using Carpet Power. Most Make Up contains harsh dyes that can permanently stain carpet if not treated correctly. Be careful not to spread this stain when wiping with a cloth. Always use water to rinse the lifted stain.
Pet Stains:
PET STAINS:
Pet hair on furniture and carpets is a breeding ground for dust mites and microscopic insects that feed on hair and can cause allergic reactions. You can't beat using a vacuum cleaner for sucking hair out of carpets and rugs. There a variety of pet stains. For droppings, never sweep or vacuum dry droppings. Pick up solid deposits as quickly as possible using a plastic sandwich bag or tissue paper and discard. Absorb excess with a paper towel then apply Carpet Power directly onto any stains left. Vacuum once dry. For pet urine and excrement, the key is to treat this immediately. Carpet Power eliminates bad odours and is great for pet stains.
KLEENING HINTS - SHOWER POWER
THE AMAZING BATHROOM,
SHOWER AND TOILET CLEANER
NO HARD SCRUBBING!! Simply squirt onto surface,
leave for 30-60 seconds, rinse and wipe off.
Time Saving Hint:
Before you tackle the bathroom with Shower Power, remove rugs and sweep or vacuum hair and dust from sinks and floors. Use a paper towel to wipe first to save you the effort of cleaning hair and dust off the sponge, dispose of paper towel in bin. Now you're ready to clean using Shower Power.
Bathtubs:
Regular cleaning with Shower Power will lessen hard soap-scum build up. After each use, wipe your bathtub with Shower Power and a sponge. The Shower Power Mate is ideal for baths. Baths are low to the ground, so using the Shower Power Mate can make cleaning easier. The long handle means less bending. Turn on bath tap and rinse the dissolved soap-scum down the drain.
Spas:
Empty spa water and wipe over with Shower Power. Leave for about 1 minute then rinse off. Your spa will look like new. Shower Power cleans and gleams!!
Tiles:
Ceramic tiles are extremely durable. Most tiles have a glazed glossy finish that protects the surface from stains and moisture. Unglazed tiles require additional care such as more frequent cleaning and occasional sealing. Squirt Shower Power directly onto the tiles you want to clean. Wipe over using a sponge or cloth, leave for 30-60 secs. then rinse off using the showerhead. Applying Shower Power using the Shower Power Mate makes it easier again. Fill the Shower Power Mate with Shower Power, turn to "ON" and you're away. Shower Power will dispense out as you wipe your tiles. The Shower Power Mate has a non-scratch cleaning head unlike steel wool or abrasive products that can scratch the tile finish.
Grout:
Grout is rough and porous which attracts soap-scum and dirt. Remove this layer of grime first with Shower Power sprayed directly onto the surface, leave for 30-60 secs. and rinse off using the showerhead. Do not use nylon or short bristle brushes that can damage grout. The Shower Power Mate has a special non-scratch cleaning head that is ideal for wiping over grout.
NOTE: Sometimes mould and grime can etch itself behind and in the grout making it impervious to cleaners. If this is the case, the surface is therefore damaged and you may need to re-grout. When you re-grout, be sure to kill all the mould or it may breed back through again. Don't use steel wool - too much scrubbing can rub the dirt into pores!
Shower Screens:
Why do all that scrubbing when Shower Power does it for you? Some happy users prefer to clean the screen while in the shower. Simply squirt onto surface. Use your hands to wipe over (those with sensitive skin should use a cloth or the Shower Power Mate) leave for 30-60secs. and rinse off using the showerhead. The Shower Power Mate is ideal for screens and makes it so much quicker. The special non-scratch cleaning head won't scratch your glass. The long handle means less leverage and saves you time.
Toilets:
Shower Power is brilliant for toilets and NEW Shower Power Pine leaves your toilet smelling fresh and clean. First remove dust using toilet paper or paper towel and flush down toilet. Spray up and around the rim of the bowl. Lightly use a toilet brush for inside areas and a cloth for the bowl. Flush toilet and wipe toilet with a moist cloth. BRILLIANT!!
KLEENING HINTS - PREWASH POWER
Prewash Power does more than just remove stains! It also destroys bad odours
and works on almost all fabrics!
STAIN REMOVAL HINTS:
Removing stains.
Spray the stained area thoroughly. Prewash
Power is colourfast assured, so using it liberally will only help remove
tough stains. Allow 1-5 minutes for penetration before throwing the item in
the washing machine.
Use a good washing powder for maximum performance.
We recommend you use a good washing detergent during the washing process. A good washing detergent will increase your chances of removing stains.
Tough Stains
It is always best to treat stains fresh. Tough, set in stains may require
retreatment. It always helps to lightly rub or blot the stain with a damp
cloth then leave for 5 minutes before placing in the washing machine. It
also helps to soak stained items in a tub of water with a few squirts of
Prewash Power before washing.

ODOUR DESTROYING HINTS:
Trying to hide the odour with something like a perfume only masks the smell.
The technology in Prewash Power targets odours and destroys them making
it an ideal prewash stain remover, where odours are a common occurrence.
The truth with spills and stains.
When developing Prewash Power, Ozkleen's Research
and Development Team found that almost all stains and spills contain odours.
While other pretreatments remove stains, bad odours can sometimes remain. Odours
can attach themselves to the fabric as well as stains.
Odours attract pests.
Untreated odours can become a breeding ground for nasty
bacteria or other organisms. Moths and other pests are also attracted to odours
from fabrics - that can result in damage. Pests give off their odour, worsening
the problem.
Musty smells on stored, damp clothing and fabrics.
Sometimes all the clothes
and fabrics from your wash load can go mouldy and smelly if you forget to hang
them out. To save you rewashing these clothes simply spray Prewash
Power on
your clothes and rinse under water. For towels, spray a light mist of Prewash
Power on the towel and hang out after.
Sock odours.
Spray Prewash Power thoroughly on your socks, wait a minute and
throw in your washing machine or rinse under water.
Perspiration that leaves body odour.
Perspiration contains chloride salts,
which can damage both colour and fiber. It starts out acidic and becomes alkaline
with age, and alkalis can damage fibers. Prewash Power prevents damage
as a result of perspiration. Spray Prewash Power on the fabric, leave
for 5 minute, then wash as usual. Untreated perspiration can attract moths
so always try and treat perspiration as soon as possible.
Smelly shoes.
Spray Prewash Power inside your shoe, leave for 5 minutes then
come back and wipe off with a damp cloth. No more smells!
Hint.
A few squirts of Prewash Power in with your wash load will help clean
and deodorize clothing and fabrics.
